Does Your Touch-Screen become very grubby with finger marks?
Here is a solution I picked up while watching Uli Wildhack navigate the screen.
Turn your hand over and use the flat part of your finger-nail (definitely not the sharp, cut end!) to touch the screen very lightly. It makes immediate contact and there is no hesitation in response. Even the virtual sliders can be operated in this way.
The real bonus is that the screen remains free of fingermarks and requires cleaning much less often. The corners stay clean as well.
By the way: when touching value boxes to change the number they contain, touch the bottom right corner. That way the resulting on-screen cursor stays out of the way of the number.
